With piezoelectric materials developed by means of nanotechnology, it will be easier to make otomobils and other tolls that can produce their own energy. Porf. Dr. Tahir Çağın, who won Feynman Nanotechnology Prize and has been making researches on technology of alternative fuel for 20 years, told that piezoelectric materials exist in some cyristal and ceramic supplies, and have been used in electronic and mekatronic tools.
he also told that these materials can produce electricity from feet and hands' movements, so clothes that can heat themselves will be made. They will be able to use these materials in pills, so those pills will find their way in body.
He said" we are looking for new energies that will replace fossil technology. We have already reached the maximum level to make it useful with our work. Instead of fossil fuels and thermoelectric systems, these nano systems will be a big development throughout the world. When the efficiency of these materials increases, people will be able to use them in their daily lives. These are meybe like dreams but in 15 years, they will be real."
